POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an exceptional Director to provide strategic leadership across large-scale digital finance transformation initiatives spanning payments, intelligent financial platforms, digital banking infrastructure, data-driven financial services, and emerging fintech ecosystems.
This is a high-impact leadership appointment designed for an accomplished fintech executive capable of translating sophisticated financial technology concepts into scalable commercial architectures.
The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of financial strategy, technology architecture, product innovation, regulatory technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation.
EXECUTIVE MANDATE
The Director will establish strategic direction for digital-finance initiatives while ensuring that technology investments generate measurable business value.
Key responsibilities include:

Define and execute enterprise fintech transformation strategies.

Architect scalable digital banking and payment ecosystems.

Evaluate emerging technologies including AI, blockchain and distributed-ledger infrastructure.

Develop long-range financial technology investment roadmaps.

Lead cross-functional technology, product, finance and risk teams.

Establish frameworks for digital payment modernization.

Drive intelligent automation across financial operations.

Develop data-driven financial decision systems.

Oversee fintech platform scalability, resilience and interoperability.

Identify emerging opportunities across GCC and international markets.

Establish technology governance and enterprise architecture standards.

Develop strategic partnerships across financial technology ecosystems.
STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The position requires an ability to connect board-level objectives with highly technical execution.
The Director will be expected to evaluate:
Digital Banking Architecture
Design resilient architectures capable of supporting high-volume financial transactions, real-time customer interactions and continuously evolving financial products.
Intelligent Finance
Deploy AI, machine learning and advanced analytics to improve forecasting, customer intelligence, fraud detection and financial decision-making.
Payments Innovation
Develop strategies covering digital wallets, payment gateways, merchant acquiring, instant payments, cross-border transactions and next-generation payment infrastructure.
Financial Data Architecture
Establish frameworks for transforming fragmented financial data into actionable intelligence.
Digital Asset Infrastructure
Assess blockchain-enabled financial infrastructure and emerging digital-asset technologies from technological, operational and commercial perspectives.
IDEAL PROFILE

12+ years of experience across fintech, financial services or digital transformation.

Senior leadership experience within complex technology environments.

Strong understanding of payments, banking technology and financial platforms.

Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams.

Strong commercial and strategic judgment.

Advanced understanding of AI, data architecture and emerging fintech technologies.

Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Experience operating across international or GCC markets is highly desirable.

Compensation
Indicative Executive Package: AED 75,000–110,000 monthly + performance-linked incentives + executive benefits.
