Job Overview
Director of Fintech Transaction State Architecture & Financial Event Finality
Jurisdiction: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Engagement Model: Full-Time | National-Scale Fintech Executive Mandate
Functional Domain: Pure Fintech | Transaction State Systems | Financial Event Governance
Institutional Mandate
This role is instituted to define, govern, and preserve the architecture through which financial events are born, validated, sequenced, finalized, and rendered irreversible within advanced fintech systems.
The Supreme Director holds apex authority over transaction state transitions, event finality logic, atomic execution sequencing, and post-event permanence, ensuring that financial actions exist as indisputable truth rather than probabilistic outcomes.
This mandate is not transaction processing, reconciliation, or operational oversight.
It exists at the foundational state layer of fintech, where the definition of “what has happened” is architected with mathematical and institutional certainty.
Strategic Authority & Responsibilities
-
Architect and govern transaction state models, including initiation, validation, commitment, and finalization phases.
-
Define executive doctrines for event immutability, rollback authority, and exception containment.
-
Establish system-wide standards for atomicity, consistency, isolation, and durability in fintech contexts.
-
Oversee integration between transaction engines, ledgers, settlement layers, and reporting constructs.
-
Lead long-term evolution of event-finality frameworks under extreme scale and concurrency.
-
Act as final authority on transaction disputes, state divergence, and post-execution ambiguity.
Executive Profile
-
20–30+ years in fintech systems, financial infrastructure, or large-scale transaction platforms.
-
Exceptional mastery of state machines, financial event modelling, and execution finality.
-
Proven leadership where transactional ambiguity creates existential system risk.
-
Ability to design frameworks that remain authoritative across technologies and decades.
-
Executive presence aligned with national-level financial system stewardship.
Compensation Structure (United Arab Emirates)
-
Base Salary: AED 100,000 – 155,000 per month
-
Annual Executive Incentive: 45% – 65% of base salary
-
Long-Term Incentive: Multi-year transaction-integrity and finality-performance awards
-
Executive Benefits: Senior housing allowance, elite healthcare coverage, education support, global mobility allowance
