Role Overview
Fintech innovation increasingly depends on developer ecosystems that build on top of financial platforms. This role is for a leader who can design and scale developer platforms, SDKs, and community engagement strategies, turning fintech infrastructure into a thriving innovation hub.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage developer platforms, including APIs, SDKs, and documentation
- Build and nurture developer communities, driving adoption and engagement
- Design tools and environments such as sandboxes and testing frameworks
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance developer experience (DX)
- Monitor metrics such as API adoption, developer activity, and ecosystem growth
- Create programs such as hackathons, partnerships, and developer incentives
- Ensure platform scalability, security, and reliability
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in software development, platform engineering, or fintech
- Strong understanding of API platforms and developer ecosystems
- Experience building technical communities or SaaS platforms
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Expertise
- Experience with SDK development and API monetization
- Knowledge of open banking and fintech ecosystems
- Familiarity with developer engagement strategies
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
