An emerging fintech ecosystem in Qatar is searching for an exceptional Director of Fintech Cybersecurity & Digital Trust to establish and oversee enterprise-wide security programs protecting digital financial infrastructure.
As cyber threats become increasingly sophisticated, fintech organizations require leaders capable of balancing innovation with security, compliance, resilience, and customer trust.
The successful candidate will shape security strategies across cloud platforms, payment systems, digital banking applications, blockchain infrastructures, and API ecosystems.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise cybersecurity strategies.
- Lead security architecture reviews for fintech platforms.
- Oversee cyber risk assessment programs.
- Establish security governance frameworks.
- Manage security operations and incident response teams.
- Drive cloud security initiatives.
- Supervise penetration testing and vulnerability management.
- Ensure compliance with regional financial regulations.
- Develop business continuity and disaster recovery programs.
- Build security awareness cultures across the organization.
Technical Expertise Required
- 10+ years in cybersecurity, information security, or fintech security.
- Strong understanding of cloud security architectures.
- Knowledge of digital banking security controls.
- Experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring solutions.
- Familiarity with zero-trust security models.
- Expertise in API security and identity management.
- Understanding of blockchain security principles.
