Role Objective
This role is designed to engineer risk awareness directly into fintech systems. The mandate is to design, govern, and operate financial risk frameworks, data intelligence platforms, and automated control mechanisms that protect system integrity at scale.
It is a role for professionals who believe risk is a design problem, not a reaction.
Primary Accountability Areas
1. Financial Risk Systems

Credit risk decision engines

Transaction monitoring and anomaly detection

Exposure and liquidity modeling
2. Data & Intelligence Platforms

Financial data ingestion and processing pipelines

Real-time and batch analytics systems

Predictive and rule-based decision frameworks
3. Governance & Controls
-
Model validation and lifecycle management

Explainability and audit-readiness
-
Threshold definition and escalation logic
Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain risk-aware fintech architectures
-
Embed real-time risk scoring into transaction flows
-
Ensure data accuracy, lineage, and interpretability
-
Partner with product and engineering teams to enforce control standards

Maintain comprehensive documentation for oversight and review
Required Competencies

Strong experience in financial risk, analytics, or fintech intelligence systems
-
Ability to operationalize models in live production environments
-
Deep respect for governance, documentation, and accountability
-
Calm, methodical decision-making under pressure
Ideal Candidate

8–14 years in fintech risk, analytics, or financial systems governance
-
Proven ownership of mission-critical control systems
-
Highly autonomous and disciplined in remote work settings
