Director of Financial Data Platforms & Real-Time Analytics – Oman (International Remote)
Role Context
This role is designed for a fintech leader who will own the architecture, governance, and evolution of large-scale financial data platforms, enabling real-time insight, predictive analytics, and decision intelligence across complex financial systems. The position is fully remote, strategically aligned with Oman’s increasing emphasis on digital infrastructure and data-driven economic frameworks.
The mandate is not limited to analytics delivery, but extends into data as a strategic financial asset, shaping how information underpins risk management, operational efficiency, and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities

Architect and lead real-time financial data platforms capable of ingesting, processing, and analysing high-velocity transaction streams.

Design scalable data pipelines spanning batch, streaming, and hybrid processing paradigms.

Establish data governance frameworks covering lineage, quality, security, and controlled accessibility.

Enable advanced analytics use cases, including predictive modeling, behavioral analysis, and financial performance intelligence.

Partner with senior stakeholders to embed analytics outputs into core financial decision processes.

Define long-term strategies for data platform scalability, cost efficiency, and analytical extensibility.

Act as a thought leader on data-centric financial system design in remote, multi-jurisdictional environments.
Candidate Profile

12–18+ years of experience across financial data engineering, analytics platforms, or large-scale information systems.

Strong expertise in streaming architectures, distributed data stores, and analytical processing frameworks.

Deep familiarity with financial datasets, transaction lifecycles, and operational risk signals.

Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives remotely.

Exceptional analytical reasoning and strategic communication skills.
Salary & Compensation Structure (Oman Benchmark – Remote)

Base Annual Salary: OMR 120,000 – OMR 160,000
