Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Digital Payments & Financial Network Architecture to lead the design and governance of Saudi Arabia’s next-generation digital payment infrastructure. This executive role will focus on multi-rail payment systems, real-time settlement, AI-driven transaction intelligence, and cross-border interoperability. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic leadership and regulatory understanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize high-performance payment infrastructures with real-time transaction capabilities.

• Develop predictive analytics and AI-driven fraud and risk detection systems.

• Oversee cross-border payment integrations and liquidity optimization frameworks.

• Ensure compliance with national digital finance regulations and standards.

• Lead multi-disciplinary remote teams including engineers, data scientists, and compliance specialists.

• Provide strategic oversight for infrastructure resilience, scalability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Financial Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Minimum 12 years in payments architecture, fintech strategy, or digital banking infrastructure.

• Expertise in ISO 20022, real-time payments, multi-rail networks, and GCC financial regulations.

• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-border collaboration skills.
