Role Summary
The Director of Digital Assets & Tokenized Financial Infrastructure will architect and lead the design of Kuwait’s digital asset economy — governing the strategic frameworks for blockchain-based instruments, tokenized securities, and institutional-grade digital finance systems.
This role integrates deep blockchain architecture expertise with financial policy foresight, driving cross-border interoperability, regulatory scalability, and institutional trust within the evolving Web3 financial paradigm.
Primary Responsibilities

Lead the strategic development of tokenization ecosystems across capital markets, digital securities, and asset-backed structures.

Design blockchain-based custody and settlement networks ensuring security, compliance, and transaction transparency.

Collaborate with regulators and international institutions to establish digital asset governance frameworks and best-practice benchmarks.

Direct cross-chain interoperability initiatives enabling seamless liquidity flows and programmable asset exchange.

Implement institutional-grade risk and audit protocols for DeFi platforms and blockchain-enabled wealth systems.

Drive innovation through pilot projects on digital currency settlement, NFT-based financial contracts, and smart asset structuring.
Candidate Profile

10–14 years of leadership experience in blockchain, digital asset management, or financial infrastructure design.

Expertise in smart contract engineering, ledger interoperability, and tokenized finance modeling.

Strong understanding of regulatory and technical convergence across traditional finance and decentralized ecosystems.

Ability to manage stakeholder engagement with regulators, technology alliances, and institutional fintech investors.

Proven global exposure to digital asset ecosystem implementation or policy design.
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Blockchain Systems, Financial Engineering, or Distributed Ledger Technology.
