Role Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Blockchain & Digital Assets to lead blockchain initiatives, digital asset governance, and DeFi platform strategy across Qatar and the GCC. This role demands technical mastery, regulatory understanding, and strategic vision to deploy secure and compliant blockchain solutions for financial services.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead blockchain strategy, governance frameworks, and digital asset management initiatives.

Oversee development of decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, tokenization strategies, and smart contracts.

Ensure full compliance with Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) and regional regulations related to digital assets.

Integrate blockchain solutions into fintech ecosystems, enhancing security, transparency, and scalability.

Evaluate emerging technologies, tokenomics, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

Collaborate with product, engineering, legal, and compliance teams for secure deployments.

Conduct audits, risk assessments, and monitoring of digital asset transactions and platforms.
Required Qualifications & Skills:

Master’s degree in Blockchain Technology, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.

8–12 years of experience in blockchain, digital assets, or decentralized finance systems.

Expertise in smart contracts, distributed ledger technologies, and token economics.

In-depth understanding of financial compliance, cybersecurity, and risk management.

Proven ability to lead blockchain or digital asset initiatives in regulated environments.

Strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
