About the Role
A leading regional fintech institution is seeking an accomplished Director – Financial Data Strategy & Intelligence to establish a world-class enterprise data capability that transforms complex financial information into strategic business intelligence.
The successful candidate will lead enterprise data governance, advanced analytics, predictive intelligence initiatives, executive reporting, and AI-enabled decision support systems that empower sustainable organisational growth.
This leadership role combines strategic vision, analytical excellence, technology innovation, and executive influence to build one of the Gulf region’s most sophisticated financial intelligence environments.
Primary Responsibilities
Data Strategy
- Develop enterprise-wide data governance frameworks.
- Build long-term financial intelligence strategies.
- Establish data quality and integrity standards.
- Design enterprise reporting architecture.
- Lead predictive analytics initiatives.
Business Intelligence
- Deliver executive performance dashboards.
- Produce strategic financial insights.
- Enhance operational decision-making.
- Support investment planning through analytics.
- Drive customer intelligence programmes.
Leadership & Governance
- Lead multidisciplinary analytics teams.
- Build enterprise data culture.
- Collaborate with technology and product divisions.
- Present analytical recommendations to executive leadership.
- Promote continuous innovation.
Education & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in fintech, banking, financial analytics, or enterprise intelligence.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven success delivering enterprise data transformation programmes.
