The Opportunity
A high-growth fintech organization is revolutionizing digital commerce by creating seamless payment experiences for merchants, marketplaces, and enterprise retailers across the Gulf region.
We are looking for a commercially driven Director – Digital Merchant Solutions & Payment Acceptance to lead the strategy, development, and expansion of innovative payment acceptance products that empower businesses to accept secure, fast, and intelligent digital payments across online, mobile, and in-store channels.
This leadership role bridges product innovation, commercial strategy, technology, and customer success to accelerate merchant growth and strengthen the organization’s position in the regional payments landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop merchant payment acceptance strategy.
- Expand QR code and contactless payment solutions.
- Lead payment gateway and POS integration programmes.
- Build partnerships with enterprise merchants and fintech providers.
- Improve merchant onboarding and digital activation.
- Optimize payment acceptance performance and conversion rates.
- Drive AI-powered merchant insights and analytics.
- Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and sales teams.
- Oversee product lifecycle management.
- Deliver commercial performance reports to executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Marketing, or Computer Science.
- MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in merchant acquiring, digital payments, fintech, or payment technology.
- Strong commercial leadership and product management expertise.
- Proven ability to manage enterprise client relationships.
