Role Overview
This position is tailored for a fintech leader specializing in financial intelligence systems, advanced risk analytics, and AI-driven compliance automation. Anchored strategically to Abu Dhabi’s data-centric financial ecosystem, the role supports GCC-wide fintech platforms requiring intelligent risk decisioning at scale.
You will oversee the design and governance of machine-learning-enabled financial control systems that proactively manage fraud, credit exposure, transaction anomalies, and regulatory obligations across digital finance infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities

Design and govern AI-driven risk engines for payments, digital lending, wallets, and virtual asset transactions.

Develop advanced transaction intelligence models, including behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, and predictive risk scoring.

Architect automated AML, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting systems embedded directly into transaction flows.

Establish data governance frameworks ensuring explainability, auditability, and regulatory defensibility of AI models.

Collaborate with distributed teams to integrate real-time risk signals into customer journeys without degrading user experience.

Lead strategic alignment between data science, fintech engineering, and regulatory interpretation.

Continuously refine risk thresholds and model logic in response to evolving GCC regulatory expectations.
Required Expertise

12+ years in fintech risk, financial crime technology, or data-driven financial systems.

Strong background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and financial data architecture.

Hands-on experience with real-time monitoring systems, rule-based engines, and adaptive AI models.

Deep familiarity with GCC regulatory frameworks related to AML, counter-terrorist financing, and digital finance oversight.

Ability to translate complex analytics into board-level and regulator-ready insights.

Experience working in fully remote, globally distributed fintech environments.
Compensation Structure

Monthly Range: USD 15,000 – 22,000

Additional performance incentives based on reduction of fraud losses and compliance efficiency

Fully remote with optional strategic presence in GCC financial hubs
