Role Overview
A growing fintech-driven digital ecosystem in the UAE is seeking a Digital Payments Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end payment workflows, ensure transaction integrity, and optimize operational efficiency across multiple digital payment channels. This role is suited for professionals experienced in high-volume financial environments and real-time payment infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of digital payment systems including card processing, mobile wallets, and instant transfers
- Monitor transaction flows to ensure accuracy, uptime, and compliance with internal SLAs
- Coordinate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to resolve payment issues and enhance system reliability
- Conduct reconciliation processes across payment gateways, banking partners, and internal ledgers
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement automation or process improvements
- Ensure adherence to regional regulatory standards such as central banking guidelines and anti-money laundering protocols
- Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for leadership review
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in fintech, digital payments, or banking operations
- Strong understanding of payment rails (e.g., SWIFT, ACH equivalents, card networks)
- Experience working with payment gateways and transaction monitoring systems
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data analysis tools
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as AML/KYC
Preferred Skills
- Experience in scaling fintech operations in high-growth environments
- Knowledge of API-based payment integrations
- Ability to manage cross-border transaction complexities
