Role Rationale & Strategic Importance
This role is created for a senior fintech professional who will assume responsibility for the architectural integrity, scalability, and future-readiness of digital payment infrastructures operating at international scale. The mandate reflects the growing complexity of modern transaction environments, where payment velocity, reliability, and interoperability are no longer competitive advantages but structural necessities.
Operating fully remotely while aligned with Dubai’s global financial orientation, the role focuses on designing and governing payment systems that function as critical financial networks, integrating initiation, routing, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation into a cohesive, resilient whole.
Key Responsibilities & Strategic Scope

Architect end-to-end digital payment ecosystems, encompassing transaction origination, authorisation, routing, clearing, settlement, and post-transaction reporting

Design high-throughput, low-latency transaction networks capable of sustaining sustained volume growth and operational stress

Define scalable frameworks for real-time payments, programmable payment logic, and wallet-based transaction models

Establish architectural governance for system resilience, redundancy, and fault isolation

Develop long-term infrastructure roadmaps aligned with global fintech and payment innovation trajectories

Act as a senior architectural authority collaborating with distributed engineering, data, and financial operations professionals
Experience & Capability Profile

14–20 years of experience in fintech payments, transaction systems, or financial infrastructure engineering

Deep technical fluency in payment lifecycles, settlement models, and transaction orchestration architectures

Advanced mastery of distributed systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and event-driven processing

Demonstrated experience designing systems supporting multi-currency and cross-border transaction flows

Strong architectural documentation discipline and maturity in remote, cross-border collaboration
Compensation & Engagement Structure

Annual Compensation Range: AED 600,000 – 900,000 (tax-free)
