An exceptional opportunity is available for a Digital Finance & Payments Strategist to help shape sophisticated financial-technology initiatives across the Gulf region.
This position is designed for a commercially minded professional who can move comfortably between financial strategy, product architecture, customer behaviour, payments infrastructure and technology-driven transformation.
You will be expected to interpret complex market signals, identify strategic opportunities and translate them into executable fintech initiatives.
This is a role for someone who thinks beyond today’s financial products and understands where digital finance is heading next.
STRATEGIC MANDATE
Your responsibilities will include:

Developing strategic frameworks for digital-finance and payment initiatives.

Analysing emerging fintech business models and competitive movements.

Evaluating opportunities across digital banking, payment platforms and embedded finance.

Developing market-entry and expansion strategies.
-
Assessing customer behaviour, transaction patterns and commercial opportunities.
-
Supporting the development of fintech product and platform strategies.
-
Translating complex financial and technology concepts into executive-level recommendations.
-
Building business cases for new digital financial initiatives.
-
Working with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Commercial teams.

Monitoring developments in payment infrastructure and financial technology.
-
Identifying operational and commercial inefficiencies within financial-service ecosystems.
-
Establishing measurable strategic KPIs and performance frameworks.
-
Presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
THE THINKING REQUIRED
You should be able to answer questions such as:
Where is the next significant fintech opportunity?
Which customer problem deserves technological investment?
How can payment friction be reduced?
Which digital-finance initiatives can produce sustainable commercial value?
How should financial platforms evolve as customer behaviour changes?
The successful candidate will combine quantitative reasoning with commercial judgement.
PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Ideal candidates will bring:

5–8+ years of experience in fintech, banking, consulting, payments, financial technology or digital transformation.

Strong understanding of digital financial ecosystems.

Demonstrated experience developing strategic initiatives.

Excellent analytical and presentation capabilities.

Strong commercial awareness.

Experience translating market intelligence into actionable strategies.

Familiarity with payment infrastructure, digital banking and fintech products.
-
Exceptional stakeholder-management abilities.
MBA, Finance, Economics, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous.
