Position Overview

A progressive financial institution in Qatar is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to support the reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of its cloud infrastructure and digital banking platforms.

This role is suited for a technology professional with a passion for automation, cloud operations, system reliability, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will collaborate with infrastructure engineers, software developers, cybersecurity specialists, and product teams to build resilient platforms capable of supporting high-volume financial applications with maximum availability and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure for enterprise banking applications.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for software deployment.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.

• Manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration environments.

• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms.

• Improve platform reliability and system availability.

• Automate infrastructure maintenance and operational workflows.

• Support production deployments and release management activities.

• Optimize application performance and cloud resource utilization.

• Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery.

• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

• Monitor system health and resolve infrastructure incidents.

• Maintain security standards and access controls.

• Prepare infrastructure documentation and operational reports.

• Recommend new technologies that improve engineering efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

• Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Git, and Terraform.

• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Knowledge of scripting languages including Bash or Python.
