A globally focused fintech institution is recruiting an analytical and forward-thinking Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to identify, assess, and monitor cyber threats affecting digital banking, financial platforms, payment networks, cloud environments, and enterprise technology infrastructure.
This role is ideal for cybersecurity professionals who are passionate about intelligence-driven defense, emerging threat analysis, and proactive risk mitigation. You will transform complex threat data into actionable intelligence that enables the organization to anticipate attacks, strengthen defenses, and safeguard financial operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor global cyber threat activity affecting financial technology.
- Analyze indicators of compromise, attack techniques, and emerging adversary trends.
- Produce strategic and operational threat intelligence reports.
- Support incident response and cyber investigation activities.
- Research vulnerabilities impacting financial systems and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with SOC, security engineering, and infrastructure teams.
- Develop intelligence dashboards and executive briefings.
- Recommend defensive improvements based on threat analysis.
- Monitor dark web intelligence, malware campaigns, and phishing trends.
- Assist in tabletop exercises and cyber resilience programmes.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of enterprise security posture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, or a related discipline.
- Experience in cyber threat intelligence, security operations, or financial technology security.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and Cyber Kill Chain.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and technical writing skills.
- Professional certifications such as GCTI, CySA+, Security+, or GCIA are advantageous.
