Advisory Mandate
We are seeking a highly analytical Consultant to advise fintech and financial-services environments on the transformation of regulatory, risk and control processes through technology.
The role centres on converting complex financial-control requirements into automated workflows, data-driven monitoring frameworks and scalable technology-enabled operating models.
Rather than functioning as a conventional compliance position, this role focuses on the intersection of regulatory operations, technology architecture, analytics and business transformation.
Key Engagement Areas

Assess existing financial-control and regulatory technology environments.

Design technology-enabled operating models for risk and control functions.

Identify opportunities to automate manual compliance and control processes.

Develop requirements for RegTech platforms and financial-control solutions.

Analyse operational data to identify control weaknesses and process inefficiencies.

Support implementation of transaction-monitoring and risk-analytics capabilities.
-
Develop control frameworks, process maps and technology roadmaps.

Translate regulatory requirements into practical technology specifications.

Work with product, engineering, risk and legal teams on transformation initiatives.

Conduct technology and process assessments.

Develop executive-level recommendations and transformation business cases.

Establish performance metrics for technology-enabled control environments.

Support implementation programmes from discovery through deployment.
Candidate Requirements
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Technology, Risk Management or a related discipline.

6+ years of experience in fintech consulting, financial services, RegTech, risk, audit, controls or technology transformation.

Strong understanding of financial processes and technology-enabled controls.

Experience documenting complex business and technology requirements.

Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate technical concepts to senior business stakeholders.

Experience with data analytics, workflow automation or financial technology platforms.
