Executive Overview
An internationally expanding financial technology institution is inviting applications for the prestigious position of Chief Platform Banking Officer (CPBO).
This executive appointment presents an exceptional opportunity to lead the strategic evolution of a next-generation digital banking ecosystem serving corporate, institutional, SME, and retail markets across the Gulf Cooperation Council and international financial corridors.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful executive will define enterprise platform banking strategies, oversee large-scale technology modernization programmes, direct innovation investments, and establish strategic alliances that shape the future of digital financial services.
Your Strategic Mission
As Chief Platform Banking Officer, you will:
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide platform banking strategies.
- Lead transformation of digital banking infrastructure.
- Drive Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) and Embedded Finance initiatives.
- Oversee API-first financial architecture and ecosystem integration.
- Establish strategic partnerships with financial institutions and technology providers.
- Lead executive governance for enterprise digital platforms.
- Champion AI-powered customer engagement and financial automation.
- Build scalable operational frameworks supporting regional expansion.
- Present strategic technology initiatives to executive committees and boards.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Executive Profile
Education
- MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Information Systems.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of executive leadership within fintech, digital banking, enterprise technology, or financial services.
- Proven success delivering enterprise-scale transformation programmes.
- Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary international teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and executive stakeholder management.
