This fully remote role demands a visionary strategist with deep expertise in building digital identity ecosystems, biometric authentication systems, blockchain-based trust registries, and privacy-preserving compliance frameworks.

The successful candidate will shape a multi-layered digital trust architecture that underpins banking, payments, and cross-border financial services. This initiative will not only fortify the UAE’s position as a global fintech innovation hub but also create the foundation for seamless, secure, and universally trusted digital finance ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy a nationwide digital identity framework anchored in biometric authentication, decentralized identity (DID), and blockchain registries.

• Develop interoperable trust infrastructures enabling UAE financial systems to integrate securely with regional and global platforms.

• Build zero-trust security models for financial institutions, ensuring continuous authentication and adaptive access management.

• Integrate privacy-preserving technologies such as homomorphic encryption and federated learning into compliance and KYC systems.

• Design AI-driven behavioral identity analytics to detect anomalies and prevent fraud in real time.

• Spearhead cross-border identity interoperability initiatives to streamline financial access for expatriates, SMEs, and global investors.

• Collaborate with regulators to set international benchmarks for digital trust frameworks that extend beyond compliance into competitive advantage.

• Establish API-first digital identity marketplaces, enabling fintech developers to integrate trust modules into diverse financial products.

Desired Qualifications

• 12–15 years of leadership in digital identity, cybersecurity, or financial trust architectures.

• Expertise in biometrics, decentralized identity frameworks, blockchain-based authentication, and cryptography.

• Strong track record in building digital trust ecosystems at national or international scale.

• Advanced knowledge of UAE’s digital economy strategies and regulatory sandboxes.

• Academic credentials in computer engineering, information security, or applied cryptography.
