Role Overview
The Chief Fintech Infrastructure Architect will lead the end-to-end design, governance, and modernization of Saudi Arabia’s next-generation digital finance infrastructure. The position involves creating scalable fintech ecosystems built upon API interoperability, cloud-native transaction frameworks, and AI-enhanced data governance, aligned with Saudi Arabia’s national digital finance objectives and global best practices.
Primary Responsibilities

Architect the technical and operational blueprint for national fintech infrastructure modernization, encompassing open finance, digital identity, and cross-border payments ecosystems.

Develop scalable cloud-based financial architecture integrating microservices, DLT protocols, and data-driven risk management frameworks.

Establish AI-enabled compliance layers for intelligent fraud detection, real-time monitoring, and regulatory reporting automation.

Drive the creation of standardized fintech interoperability models connecting local and global financial institutions, PSPs, and neobanks.

Oversee strategic alignment with GCC regulatory harmonization efforts, ISO 20022 standards, and AI 2030 financial transformation directives.
Qualifications

Master’s or Ph.D. in Financial Technology, Systems Architecture, or Digital Economics.

10+ years of senior-level experience in fintech infrastructure, digital banking transformation, or API governance.

Expertise in blockchain-based systems, cloud security, and RegTech compliance frameworks.

Familiarity with Saudi Central Bank fintech initiatives and Vision 2030 financial digitalization policies.
