Strategic Imperative

This role exists at the intersection of data infrastructure engineering and financial intelligence orchestration, tasked with building a unified, real-time financial data ecosystem that powers decision-making, regulatory reporting, and AI-driven banking services.

The Chief Financial Data Infrastructure & Intelligence Officer will oversee the transformation of fragmented financial data systems into a cohesive, scalable, and intelligence-enabled architecture, supporting high-frequency transaction environments and complex financial operations across the GCC.

Enterprise-Level Responsibilities

A. Financial Data Infrastructure Architecture

• Design end-to-end data ecosystems capable of ingesting, processing, and analyzing high-volume transactional data streams in real time.

• Implement distributed data architectures using data lakes, warehouses, and streaming platforms.

• Ensure seamless integration between core banking systems, payment platforms, and third-party fintech solutions.

B. Real-Time Financial Intelligence Systems

• Develop AI-driven analytics platforms for transaction monitoring, behavioral analysis, and financial forecasting.

• Enable real-time dashboards for liquidity monitoring, risk exposure, and operational performance.

• Deploy decision intelligence systems that automate financial insights and recommendations.

C. Data Governance, Privacy & Regulatory Alignment

• Establish enterprise data governance frameworks ensuring accuracy, lineage, and compliance.

• Align data systems with UAE regulatory requirements and international data protection standards.

• Implement secure data-sharing protocols for open banking and ecosystem integration.

D. Advanced Analytics & AI Enablement

• Integrate machine learning models into financial workflows for fraud detection, credit scoring, and customer intelligence.

• Develop predictive analytics for market trends, portfolio performance, and financial risk.

• Enable explainable AI frameworks for regulatory transparency.

Candidate Profile

• 15+ years in data engineering, fintech infrastructure, or financial analytics leadership.

• Expertise in big data technologies, cloud platforms, and AI/ML systems.

• Strong understanding of financial systems, payment infrastructures, and regulatory environments.

• Proven leadership in building and scaling enterprise data ecosystems.
