Position Overview
The Remote Chief Digital Payments & Infrastructure Transformation Officer will spearhead the evolution of next-generation financial technology ecosystems across the United Arab Emirates. This role is aimed at a seasoned fintech executive with a demonstrated capacity to architect cross-border digital payment systems, lead advanced infrastructure modernization, and harmonize innovation with compliance and resilience across the UAE’s rapidly diversifying financial landscape.
Core Responsibilities

Design and execute large-scale payment infrastructure modernization strategies encompassing real-time payments, open finance, and blockchain-based transaction frameworks.

Develop national-grade interoperability standards between traditional banking systems, fintechs, and third-party financial ecosystems.

Lead digital transformation initiatives aligning cloud-native fintech platforms with ISO 20022, FATF, and G20 payment transparency frameworks.

Establish AI-enabled financial operations models integrating transaction intelligence, anomaly detection, and autonomous reconciliation.

Drive enterprise-grade cybersecurity and data governance policies ensuring operational stability and regulatory compliance.

Build multi-stakeholder partnerships with global technology providers, regulators, and financial institutions to enhance the UAE’s fintech competitiveness globally.
Professional Requirements

Minimum 12 years’ experience in digital payments, financial technology leadership, or infrastructure transformation.

Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Financial Engineering, Systems Architecture, or Technology Policy.

Proven ability to deliver multi-jurisdictional fintech programs within complex regulatory environments.

Expertise in blockchain-based payment ecosystems, embedded finance, and AI-driven automation.
