Strategic Role Context
The Chief Digital Finance Infrastructure & Core Ledger Transformation Officer is responsible for re-architecting the foundational financial ledgers and transaction cores that underpin modern fintech ecosystems. This role exists at the deepest layer of financial technology, where ledger integrity, transaction finality, scalability, and regulatory observability converge.
The mandate is not incremental modernization, but structural transformation—ensuring that next-generation digital finance platforms are built upon future-proof, auditable, and high-resilience ledger architectures capable of supporting real-time settlement, programmable finance, and cross-platform interoperability.
This role is suited for a senior fintech executive who understands that core ledgers are sovereign financial infrastructure, not merely backend systems.
Strategic Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end transformation of core financial ledger architectures, including real-time posting, reconciliation, and settlement logic

Define architectural standards for event-driven, API-exposed, and cloud-native ledger systems

Govern data integrity, immutability, and auditability across all financial records and transaction flows

Oversee large-scale migration strategies from legacy cores to modular, service-oriented financial engines

Establish governance frameworks for ledger extensibility, version control, and financial accuracy at scale

Align ledger architectures with regulatory reporting, supervisory access, and systemic transparency requirements

Act as executive authority on financial data truth, reconciliation logic, and system-wide financial consistency
Executive Profile & Expertise

16–22 years of experience in fintech core systems, financial infrastructure, or ledger engineering

Deep expertise in financial posting engines, settlement logic, and transaction consistency models

Proven leadership in large-scale core transformation initiatives

Advanced understanding of regulatory audit requirements applied to financial records

International exposure to core banking or fintech ledger modernization programs
Compensation & Salary Structure (Annual – SAR)

Base Salary: SAR 1,050,000 – 1,350,000

Executive Transformation Bonus: 30% – 45% of base salary

Infrastructure Stewardship Allowance: SAR 200,000 – 350,000

Housing & Executive Living Package: Fully covered or cash equivalent
