About the Executive Opportunity
A globally respected financial technology enterprise is launching a multi-year digital transformation programme to build one of the Middle East’s most advanced intelligent financial ecosystems.
The organization is seeking a visionary Chief Digital Commerce & Financial Platforms Officer (CDCFO) to lead enterprise innovation across digital commerce, embedded financial services, payment infrastructure, customer intelligence, and platform modernization.
Reporting directly to the Group Chief Executive Officer, the successful executive will establish long-term strategic direction while overseeing enterprise-scale programmes that strengthen digital capabilities, accelerate regional expansion, and create exceptional customer value across multiple financial markets.
Key Executive Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define enterprise digital commerce strategy.
- Develop long-term fintech innovation roadmaps.
- Lead regional and international market expansion.
- Build strategic alliances with financial institutions and technology providers.
- Identify high-value investment opportunities.
Platform Innovation
- Modernize enterprise banking platforms.
- Oversee embedded finance initiatives.
- Lead API-first financial ecosystem development.
- Champion AI-enabled operational transformation.
- Drive intelligent customer engagement programmes.
Corporate Governance
- Advise executive committees on emerging technologies.
- Lead enterprise governance initiatives.
- Build high-performing leadership teams.
- Promote innovation and organizational excellence.
- Represent the organization at international fintech forums.
Professional Requirements
Education
- MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Information Systems.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of executive leadership experience within fintech, digital banking, financial services, or enterprise technology.
- Proven success leading enterprise digital transformation.
- Strong commercial, strategic, and operational leadership expertise.
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
