An internationally respected fintech institution is establishing a flagship Digital Banking Innovation Hub in Bahrain and invites applications for the prestigious position of Chief Digital Banking Experience & Financial Innovation Officer.
This appointment offers an opportunity to redefine digital financial services by combining intelligent automation, customer-centric innovation, AI-powered banking platforms, and strategic business transformation. The successful executive will work closely with the Board of Directors to create scalable financial ecosystems capable of serving millions of retail, SME, and institutional customers throughout the GCC.
Executive Responsibilities
Enterprise Transformation
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide digital banking transformation strategies.
- Lead AI-powered customer experience initiatives.
- Build intelligent omnichannel banking ecosystems.
- Oversee enterprise financial innovation programmes.
- Define long-term product modernization roadmaps.
Commercial Leadership
- Expand strategic alliances with banks, fintech companies, and payment providers.
- Lead regional market expansion initiatives.
- Identify emerging commercial opportunities.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth.
Executive Governance
- Report directly to the Board of Directors.
- Lead executive innovation councils.
- Mentor senior leadership teams.
- Represent the organization at global financial technology summits.
Executive Profile
Education
- MBA or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Financial Technology, Computer Science, Economics, or Information Systems.
Experience
- Minimum 17 years of executive leadership experience.
- Extensive fintech or banking background.
- Proven success leading enterprise transformation programmes.
- Strong commercial and strategic leadership capability.
- Outstanding executive communication skills.
