Role Summary
The Chief Digital Asset Custody & Tokenization Strategist will architect and oversee the structural foundation of Oman’s emerging digital asset economy, focusing on institutional-grade custody, asset tokenization, and digital asset lifecycle management.
This position combines blockchain engineering vision with regulatory awareness, requiring a deep understanding of digital securities, compliance-driven smart contracts, and decentralized financial infrastructure.
Strategic Responsibilities

Design digital asset custody frameworks integrating advanced cryptographic protocols, multi-signature security, and key management systems.

Lead tokenization initiatives across real-world assets—securities, real estate, commodities, and alternative investments.

Develop policy-aligned infrastructure ensuring interoperability between blockchain platforms and traditional financial systems.

Define technical standards for issuance, custody, and transfer of digital assets under GCC and global regulatory frameworks.

Collaborate with financial supervisors, compliance bodies, and market operators to align digital asset practices with institutional governance.

Integrate AI-driven analytics for monitoring tokenized asset liquidity, valuation, and risk exposure.
Essential Expertise

10–15 years of experience in blockchain technology, digital asset custody, or fintech systems design.

Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols, custody solutions, and cross-chain interoperability.

Proven record leading digital asset infrastructure or tokenization strategy at scale.

Familiarity with digital securities frameworks (ERC-1400, ERC-3643, ISO 24165).
Preferred Qualifications

MSc/PhD in Distributed Systems, Financial Engineering, or Cryptography.

Prior experience with regulated tokenization projects or institutional custody systems.

Contributions to blockchain governance or financial market digitalization programs.
