Executive Role Mandate

This role constitutes a top-of-the-market architectural leadership mandate within the global fintech ecosystem, intended for a professional who operates at the intersection of cross-border payments engineering, financial market infrastructure design, and large-scale transaction orchestration. While entirely remote, the position is strategically aligned with Saudi Arabia’s accelerating transformation toward advanced digital finance, real-time payments modernisation, and regional financial connectivity.

The role holder will act as the ultimate design authority for complex payment and settlement architectures spanning real-time payment rails, cross-currency clearing mechanisms, liquidity coordination frameworks, and next-generation transaction platforms operating across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.

Scope of Responsibility

• Design and govern enterprise-grade architectures for cross-border payments, high-value settlement systems, and real-time transaction networks.

• Define end-to-end payment lifecycle models encompassing initiation, routing, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling.

• Architect interoperability frameworks between domestic payment rails, international settlement networks, and emerging digital payment platforms.

• Establish architectural standards addressing throughput scalability, latency optimisation, fault tolerance, and systemic resilience.

• Lead governance frameworks covering transaction security, cryptographic controls, operational risk, and infrastructure sustainability.

• Produce authoritative architectural blueprints, white papers, and multi-year infrastructure evolution roadmaps.

• Act as senior escalation authority for complex system design decisions affecting global transaction ecosystems.

Executive Profile Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in payments technology, financial market infrastructure, or large-scale fintech platform architecture.

• Deep mastery of real-time payments, cross-border settlement models, and multi-currency transaction systems.

• Advanced expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and high-availability financial platforms.

• Proven experience operating at chief, principal, or enterprise architect level.

• Exceptional capability to communicate complex system architecture to executive and regulatory stakeholders.

Salary Structure (Saudi Arabia-Aligned, Remote)

• Base Annual Salary: USD 200,000 – USD 260,000

• Executive Performance Bonus: USD 35,000 – USD 65,000 annually
