Role Context

As Chief Architect — Digital Payments & Financial Infrastructure Modernization, you will define and govern the blueprint for next-generation financial connectivity systems across retail, enterprise, and cross-border ecosystems.
Your work will directly influence settlement efficiency, transaction resilience, merchant integration capability, and the evolution of embedded financial services.
Core Responsibilities
- Design national-scale digital payments architecture frameworks.
- Lead modernization of core transaction and settlement systems.
- Define interoperability standards across financial institutions and fintech platforms.
- Develop API-first infrastructure strategies for financial connectivity.
- Establish governance models for payment ecosystems and infrastructure resilience.
- Evaluate emerging technologies in real-time payments and distributed financial systems.
- Coordinate architecture alignment across regulatory, operational, and technical stakeholders.
- Create long-term scalability frameworks for financial ecosystems.
- Support strategic transformation programs across payment rails and digital channels.
- Ensure performance, reliability, and security standards across financial infrastructure layers.
Required Experience
- 12+ years in fintech architecture, banking systems, payments infrastructure, or enterprise financial technology.
- Deep experience in large-scale system design or financial platforms.
- Strong understanding of real-time payments, settlement mechanisms, and financial interoperability.
- Experience working in regulated financial environments.
