Role Overview
Saudi Arabia is building a high-performance financial future defined by real-time digital payments, intelligent cross-border settlement, and ultra-secure, cloud-native financial infrastructure. This role provides strategic leadership in engineering Saudi Arabia’s next generation of real-time payment architectures, integrating multi-rail settlement pathways, AI-powered liquidity systems, and advanced orchestration layers for high-volume financial transactions.
The position requires mastery of national-scale financial infrastructures, advanced systems engineering, complex routing design, and cross-institution interoperability frameworks. You will architect end-to-end platforms capable of supporting the Kingdom’s acceleration toward global digital payments leadership.
Core Responsibilities

Lead design of a Saudi-aligned real-time payment ecosystem, including ISO 20022 transformation, instant settlement modules, and multi-rail routing systems.

Architect high-throughput financial gateways that deliver ultra-low latency, adaptive scaling, and resilience across distributed, cloud-native environments.

Build advanced AI-powered liquidity and treasury engines, supporting predictive settlement, adaptive fund movements, and real-time liquidity intelligence.

Oversee development of multi-layer fraud prevention systems leveraging machine learning, behavior signatures, and real-time transaction scoring.

Develop cross-border interoperability frameworks connecting payment providers, fintech operators, and global settlement networks.

Create enterprise-level governance systems ensuring compliance, infrastructure integrity, and monitoring performance across ecosystem stakeholders.
Required Expertise

12–18+ years in digital payments architecture, financial systems engineering, or cross-border settlement infrastructures.

Deep understanding of distributed architectures, high-volume compute systems, and national payments modernization.

Proven leadership in orchestrating large-scale digital financial transformation initiatives.

Strong knowledge of Gulf-region financial digitalization trends and infrastructure priorities.
