Role Summary:
A pioneering opportunity exists for a Blockchain Integration Engineer to work on the forefront of UAE’s financial innovation landscape, integrating tokenization, cross-border blockchain interoperability, and regulated DeFi tools into the existing fintech rails of the Emirates.
This role is central to bridging traditional finance with next-gen decentralized models through robust APIs, smart contract layers, and secure data relays—all compliant with the UAE’s regulatory outlook, including VARA, ADGM’s DLT Framework, and Dubai’s Digital Asset Regulatory Regime.
Key Responsibilities:
🔗 Tokenization & Smart Contract Design

Architect ERC-1400 or BEP-141 smart contracts to support tokenized securities, synthetic assets, and asset-backed stablecoins.

Build end-to-end minting, escrow, and redemption flows for real estate tokens, sukuk instruments, and carbon credit exchanges.

Embed dynamic ownership controls, regulatory stop-lists, and real-time auditing features within all smart contracts.
🔌 Fintech Platform Integration

Build REST and GraphQL APIs for fintech clients to interface with on-chain assets securely.

Implement hybrid infrastructure connecting Layer-1 (Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain) and Layer-2 solutions (zkSync, Arbitrum) with custodial banks, e-wallets, and brokerage apps.

Design integration pipelines with Chainlink oracles, IPFS storage, and zero-knowledge proof engines for privacy-preserving audits.
🧾 Compliance, Identity & Asset Provenance

Align blockchain architecture with requirements from UAE’s regulatory sandbox, FATF guidelines, and digital asset AML frameworks.

Collaborate with eKYC vendors to link on-chain activity with off-chain identity using verifiable credentials and self-sovereign ID frameworks (DID, VC).

Build metadata-rich NFT and token provenance layers using ERC-721 extensions and IPFS pinning for proof of origin and auditability.
🌐 Ecosystem Collaboration & Pilot Deployment

Lead cross-functional initiatives involving UAE regulators (VARA, FSRA, DIFC), enterprise clients, and tokenization pioneers.

Design sandbox environments, token lifecycle simulations, and staged deployments for high-value use cases including real estate, sukuk, and startup equity tokens.
Qualifications:

5+ years of blockchain development with direct fintech use cases.

Expertise in Solidity, Rust, Go, or Cairo; familiarity with zero-knowledge systems (zk-SNARKs, zk-STARKs).

Experience integrating DeFi tools, smart contracts, or tokenization platforms into consumer fintech applications.

Prior engagement with UAE fintech regulators, regulatory sandboxes, or startup hubs (Hub71, ADGM, DIFC Fintech Hive).
