A globally oriented fintech institution is seeking an exceptional Architect – Enterprise Fintech Solutions to define and deliver the technology architecture powering next-generation banking, digital payments, embedded finance, AI-driven financial intelligence, and cloud-native financial services.
This senior position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide technology strategy by designing highly scalable, secure, and resilient platforms capable of supporting millions of financial transactions while accelerating innovation across an evolving digital economy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Define enterprise architecture standards for fintech products and banking platforms.
- Design scalable cloud-native solutions supporting digital banking and payment ecosystems.
- Lead architectural reviews across software engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and product teams.
- Develop API-first integration strategies connecting financial applications and third-party services.
- Establish architectural governance, technology standards, and solution roadmaps.
- Evaluate emerging technologies including AI, machine learning, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Improve platform resilience, scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure technology solutions align with security, compliance, and risk management requirements.
- Mentor engineering teams on architectural best practices and technical excellence.
- Present strategic technology recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in enterprise architecture within fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Expertise in cloud computing, microservices, API architecture, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of payment technologies and financial platforms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
