Architecture Challenge
An accomplished Architect is required to shape the technology foundation of modern financial platforms moving toward cloud-native infrastructure.
This is a deeply technical role focused on platform modernization, distributed architecture, API ecosystems, resilience and scalable financial workloads. The successful professional will help determine how critical fintech applications evolve from traditional infrastructure into highly available cloud environments.
Architecture Responsibilities

Define cloud-native architecture for digital banking and fintech platforms.

Develop modernization strategies for legacy financial applications.

Establish reference architectures for microservices and distributed systems.
-
Design API and integration frameworks connecting financial platforms.
-
Define standards for scalability, resilience and system availability.
-
Evaluate cloud services against security, performance and financial requirements.

Develop migration strategies for critical workloads.
-
Establish architecture governance and technical standards.
-
Work closely with engineering teams throughout implementation.
-
Review system designs for performance, reliability and maintainability.
-
Develop disaster-recovery and business-continuity architecture.
-
Identify technical debt and establish structured remediation roadmaps.
-
Evaluate emerging infrastructure technologies and their practical applications.

Provide technical leadership during major platform transformation programmes.
Required Experience
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.

8+ years of experience in software architecture, cloud architecture or financial technology.

Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or comparable environments.

Deep understanding of APIs, microservices, containers and distributed systems.

Experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices.
-
Strong knowledge of enterprise security and resilience architecture.

Experience within banking, payments or fintech environments strongly preferred.
