An innovative fintech organization is recruiting a detail-oriented Analyst – Payment Fraud Detection to strengthen fraud prevention across digital payment platforms, online banking services, merchant acquiring solutions, and instant payment networks.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in identifying suspicious activities, protecting customers, and improving transaction security through data-driven fraud intelligence.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor payment transactions to identify suspicious patterns and fraudulent activities.
- Analyze fraud alerts using advanced analytical tools and behavioral indicators.
- Investigate payment anomalies and recommend appropriate actions.
- Prepare fraud trend reports, dashboards, and operational intelligence summaries.
- Collaborate with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Technology teams.
- Improve fraud detection rules and transaction monitoring capabilities.
- Support fraud prevention initiatives through continuous process enhancement.
- Assist in incident investigations and post-event reviews.
- Monitor emerging fraud schemes targeting digital financial services.
- Maintain accurate investigation records and reporting documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Experience in fraud analysis, payment operations, banking, or fintech.
- Strong analytical skills with knowledge of SQL, Excel, Power BI, or business intelligence platforms.
- Excellent investigative mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
