Strategic Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially aware Advisor to guide fintech businesses through regulatory strategy, market-entry planning and the operational realities of expanding financial products into new markets.
This position combines financial-services strategy, regulatory intelligence, competitive analysis and commercial planning. The successful candidate will help leadership understand how regulatory environments, market structures and technology requirements influence the viability of fintech expansion.
Advisory Responsibilities

Assess regulatory and market conditions affecting fintech expansion.

Develop market-entry strategies for new financial products and services.

Translate regulatory developments into practical strategic recommendations.

Conduct structured assessments of prospective markets.

Analyse licensing, operational and technology considerations relevant to expansion.

Develop regulatory-readiness roadmaps for new fintech initiatives.

Evaluate competitors, market structures and customer opportunities.

Advise product teams on market-specific operational requirements.

Support strategic engagement with financial institutions and relevant stakeholders.

Develop executive briefing papers on regulatory and market developments.
-
Identify potential barriers to launching fintech products in new jurisdictions.

Build commercial scenarios incorporating market-entry requirements.

Monitor international fintech regulatory trends.
-
Support strategic partnerships and expansion initiatives.
Required Background
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Business, Public Policy or a related field.

7+ years of experience in fintech, financial services, consulting, regulatory strategy or market expansion.

Strong understanding of digital banking, payments and fintech business models.
-
Demonstrated ability to analyse complex regulatory and commercial environments.
-
Excellent research, financial-analysis and strategic-writing skills.
-
Strong stakeholder-management and presentation capabilities.
-
Experience with GCC financial markets is highly advantageous.
