Technical & Financial Mandate
We are seeking a highly analytical Financial Engineer to develop quantitative models and financial-technology solutions supporting pricing, liquidity analysis, transaction economics, forecasting, and financial optimization.
This is a specialist role for a professional comfortable operating between mathematical finance, data science, financial systems, and business strategy.
The successful candidate will transform financial and transactional data into models that improve pricing decisions, treasury visibility, forecasting accuracy, and fintech economics.
Principal Responsibilities

Develop quantitative models for financial and fintech applications.

Analyze transaction economics and develop pricing models.

Build forecasting models for liquidity, revenue, transaction volumes, and financial performance.

Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.

Develop analytical frameworks for treasury and financial operations.

Analyze customer, transaction, and product economics.

Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to operationalize quantitative models.

Evaluate model performance and maintain appropriate documentation.

Develop optimization frameworks for financial decisions.

Analyze payment costs, margins, transaction fees, and revenue structures.

Build dashboards and analytical tools supporting financial decision-making.

Conduct statistical analysis of financial and operational datasets.

Identify opportunities to improve fintech unit economics.

Support strategic investment and product decisions with quantitative analysis.

Present technical findings and financial recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience

Master’s degree preferred in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, or related discipline.

5+ years of experience in financial engineering, quantitative finance, fintech analytics, treasury analytics, or financial modeling.

Strong Python, R, MATLAB, SQL, or equivalent quantitative programming skills.

Strong mathematical and statistical foundation.

Experience working with financial and transactional datasets.

Knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, optimization, and scenario analysis.

Strong understanding of financial technology and digital transaction environments.

Excellent analytical communication skills.
