About the Position
A rapidly growing fintech investment group is seeking an accomplished Vice President β FinTech Ventures & Strategic Investments to identify, evaluate, and accelerate high-potential fintech opportunities across the Middle East and international markets.
The successful executive will lead investment analysis, venture partnerships, acquisition strategies, portfolio management, and innovation programmes that strengthen the organization’s long-term competitive advantage.
Core Responsibilities
Investment Strategy
- Source emerging fintech investment opportunities.
- Conduct commercial and financial due diligence.
- Evaluate strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
- Develop long-term investment strategies.
- Build diversified fintech investment portfolios.
Innovation & Growth
- Support fintech incubation programmes.
- Lead strategic market research initiatives.
- Identify disruptive financial technologies.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on expansion strategies.
- Develop innovation acceleration frameworks.
Leadership
- Lead multidisciplinary investment teams.
- Present investment recommendations to executive committees.
- Manage relationships with institutional stakeholders.
- Mentor investment professionals.
- Drive organizational growth initiatives.
Professional Requirements
- Master’s Degree or MBA in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Investment Management, or Technology.
- 12+ years of experience in venture capital, fintech, investment banking, private equity, or financial services.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation expertise.
- Excellent commercial negotiation skills.
- Experience leading investment portfolios.
