This role constitutes a supra-senior fintech architecture authority responsible for the design, orchestration, and long-term evolution of large-scale digital transaction and settlement ecosystems. The mandate transcends conventional engineering leadership and is positioned at the system-of-systems level, where transactional logic, financial controls, platform resilience, and economic throughput converge.

The role exists to define how value moves, how transactions achieve finality, and how financial systems maintain deterministic integrity under extreme scale, while remaining adaptable to future financial instruments, market structures, and interoperability demands aligned with Saudi Arabia’s digital finance trajectory.

Core Strategic Mandate & Scope

• Architect end-to-end transaction lifecycle frameworks, covering initiation, authorization, routing, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception resolution.

• Define settlement finality models that balance speed, systemic risk containment, and operational certainty across high-volume environments.

• Establish transaction abstraction layers that decouple product logic from settlement mechanics and infrastructure dependencies.

• Design high-availability, horizontally scalable financial platforms capable of sustaining peak loads without degradation of integrity or latency.

• Create technical representations of regulatory intent, embedding compliance, auditability, and traceability directly into system logic.

• Oversee the architectural integration of real-time payments, deferred settlement mechanisms, and cross-border transaction corridors.

• Act as final authority on platform resilience, fault isolation, disaster recovery logic, and systemic risk propagation controls.

Executive Technical Profile

• 15+ years in financial platform architecture, transaction systems engineering, or large-scale fintech infrastructure leadership.

• Master-level command of distributed systems, transactional consistency models, event-driven architectures, and settlement mechanics.

• Deep understanding of financial market plumbing, payment system design, and institutional-grade platform governance.

• Proven ability to operate at the convergence of technology architecture, financial risk, and regulatory translation.

• Experience across high-growth or nationally significant digital financial ecosystems is essential.

Remote Compensation Architecture (Saudi Arabia Benchmarking)

• Base Annual Strategic Retainer: SAR 480,000 – SAR 620,000

• System Impact & Performance Allocation: SAR 90,000 – SAR 150,000

• Long-Term Platform Stewardship Incentive (Cash-Based): SAR 120,000 – SAR 200,000

• Total Annual Compensation Envelope: SAR 690,000 – SAR 970,000
