Strategic Mandate
We are seeking an accomplished Strategist to identify and evaluate opportunities for growth through corporate development, strategic investments, acquisitions, technology partnerships and market expansion.
This role is designed for a finance-oriented fintech professional who can connect market intelligence, valuation, competitive positioning and technology trends to long-term corporate strategy.
Core Responsibilities

Develop corporate-development strategies aligned with fintech growth objectives.

Identify acquisition, investment and strategic-partnership opportunities.

Conduct market mapping across fintech and financial-services sectors.

Evaluate prospective businesses, technologies and strategic assets.

Build financial models, valuation analyses and investment cases.

Conduct commercial and competitive assessments of potential transactions.

Coordinate multidisciplinary due-diligence activities.
-
Analyse target-company business models, technology capabilities and growth potential.

Prepare executive-level investment memoranda and strategic recommendations.

Monitor fintech M&A activity and emerging consolidation trends.

Support negotiations with prospective strategic partners and acquisition targets.

Evaluate post-transaction integration considerations.

Develop long-range scenarios for market expansion and portfolio growth.
Required Background
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a related field; MBA or advanced finance qualification preferred.

7+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, fintech or financial services.

Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities.

Excellent understanding of fintech business models.

Strong analytical, negotiation and presentation skills.

Experience evaluating technology-driven businesses is highly advantageous.
