An internationally focused fintech institution is searching for an exceptional Specialist – Cloud Security & Fintech Resilience to strengthen cloud-native financial platforms supporting digital payments, embedded finance, blockchain integration, artificial intelligence, and next-generation banking services.
The successful candidate will help build resilient cloud environments capable of supporting highly secure, always-available financial applications while maintaining compliance with evolving cybersecurity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure cloud infrastructure supporting fintech applications and digital banking platforms.
- Implement cloud-native security controls across infrastructure and containerized environments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and cloud security reviews.
- Support disaster recovery planning, business continuity, and cyber resilience initiatives.
- Secure APIs, databases, payment platforms, and customer data environments.
- Monitor cloud workloads using modern security monitoring technologies.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security throughout the software lifecycle.
- Develop security policies, standards, and technical documentation.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Stay informed on emerging cloud threats, fintech vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity innovations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or Computer Engineering.
- Experience securing cloud platforms within banking, fintech, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, encryption, IAM, network security, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps.
- Professional certifications such as CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
