Role Overview

The UAE is firmly established as a global fintech hub, with payments and settlement innovation central to its leadership in digital finance. This role seeks a senior executive to drive strategic advancements in real-time payments, tokenization, mobile commerce, and cross-border settlement ecosystems. The successful candidate will position UAE’s payments infrastructure as globally interoperable, secure, and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of next-generation payments architecture across retail, corporate, and e-commerce ecosystems.

• Oversee blockchain settlement platforms, CBDC readiness, and ISO 20022 integration.

• Forge partnerships with central banks, international payment networks, and fintech innovators.

• Strengthen fraud prevention, digital identity, and cybersecurity protocols.

• Promote UAE’s fintech leadership at international payments and technology forums.

• Expand financial inclusion through mobile-first, cloud-native, and low-cost payment solutions.

Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Strategy, or Technology.

• 15+ years in payments, clearing systems, or financial infrastructure strategy.

• Demonstrated track record in scaling cross-border and real-time payment solutions.

• Deep understanding of UAE regulatory frameworks (Central Bank, DIFC).

• Experience working with global payments standards and networks.
