Position Summary
A rapidly scaling fintech ecosystem is strengthening its operational backbone to support high-volume digital banking, payment processing, and financial service delivery.
As transaction volumes increase and systems become more complex, operational excellence and platform reliability become critical to maintaining trust and performance.
To lead this domain, the organization is seeking a Senior Vice President – Fintech Operations, Service Reliability & Financial Platform Performance.
This role is responsible for ensuring that all fintech systems operate with maximum efficiency, minimal downtime, and consistent performance across all user interactions.
Core Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Platform Reliability
- Oversee daily operations of fintech platforms and services.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of financial systems.
- Implement service reliability engineering practices.
- Optimize system performance under high transaction volumes.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Track system performance metrics and KPIs.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.
- Enhance scalability through operational optimization.
- Ensure seamless user experience across platforms.
Incident Management & Risk Mitigation
- Develop frameworks for incident detection and response.
- Manage system outages and ensure rapid recovery.
- Mitigate operational risks across financial systems.
- Ensure business continuity planning.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams.
- Align operations with strategic business objectives.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive operational efficiency across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in fintech operations or platform management.
- Strong understanding of digital financial systems.
- Experience managing large-scale operations.
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
