To support this strategic transformation, the company is hiring a Senior Vice President – Banking APIs, Open Finance & Real-Time Payment Architecture to oversee enterprise financial connectivity, API scalability, and next-generation banking integration systems.
This role combines infrastructure leadership, fintech modernization strategy, payment architecture oversight, and enterprise operational scalability.
Strategic Responsibilities
Open Banking & API Infrastructure

Lead enterprise API banking architecture initiatives

Improve scalability and resilience of financial connectivity systems

Coordinate rollout of Banking-as-a-Service operational frameworks

Support integration of third-party fintech ecosystems

Optimize real-time transaction orchestration infrastructure
Real-Time Payments Oversight
-
Improve speed and reliability across payment processing systems

Reduce transaction latency and infrastructure bottlenecks

Strengthen operational monitoring of financial connectivity environments

Coordinate modernization of settlement and payment routing systems

Support rollout of instant payment capabilities
Infrastructure Governance & Resilience

Ensure API ecosystems align with Qatar financial technology governance requirements

Improve operational continuity across financial infrastructure

Coordinate cybersecurity collaboration regarding API protection

Support audit readiness and enterprise risk management initiatives
Leadership & Enterprise Coordination

Lead financial infrastructure and integration teams

Coordinate with banking partners and technology providers

Present infrastructure modernization reporting to executive leadership

Support long-term digital banking transformation strategy
Candidate Requirements
✔ 10–16 years experience within:

✔ Strong expertise involving:
