Strategic Mandate
The Institutional Custody & Digital Asset Infrastructure Strategist is responsible for designing secure, scalable, and institutionally credible custody frameworks for digital and tokenised financial assets. This role focuses on infrastructure design, governance, and risk architecture, not asset promotion, trading, or operational custody.
The mandate addresses how institutional capital safely interfaces with digital asset ecosystems, ensuring custody systems meet global expectations for resilience, segregation, auditability, and operational integrity.
Primary Responsibilities

Architect institutional custody frameworks for digital and tokenised financial assets

Define governance models for key management, segregation, recovery, and operational continuity

Evaluate custody technologies including MPC, hardware security modules, and distributed architectures

Assess systemic, operational, and legal risk across custody value chains

Produce executive-level strategy papers, infrastructure blueprints, and risk frameworks

Advise international stakeholders on institutional digital asset market readiness

Guide long-term evolution of custody infrastructure for capital-markets integration
Required Expertise

Strong background in custody systems, post-trade infrastructure, or digital asset architecture

Advanced understanding of institutional risk management and asset safeguarding principles

Ability to operate at strategic and architectural levels across technology and finance

Executive-level advisory documentation skills
Ideal Professional Profile

12+ years in custody, securities infrastructure, fintech strategy, or market operations

International exposure to institutional finance or capital markets

Proven autonomy in senior remote advisory roles
