Overview
Bahrain has positioned itself as a regional fintech hub, leveraging its regulatory sandbox and innovation-friendly frameworks. We are seeking a Senior Remote Fintech Innovation & RegTech Specialist to architect advanced compliance automation, regulatory technology platforms, and market-entry strategies for digital financial institutions operating in Bahrain and the wider GCC.
Responsibilities

Design and implement RegTech platforms leveraging AI, machine learning, and big data for compliance automation.

Align digital products with Bahrain Central Bank (CBB) directives and international frameworks (FATF, IOSCO, Basel III).

Evaluate blockchain-based compliance tools, digital ID solutions, and real-time KYC/AML monitoring.

Conduct strategic assessments of Bahrain’s fintech sandbox, identifying innovation opportunities and cross-border scalability.

Support fintechs and digital banks in navigating regulatory licensing processes and risk frameworks.

Collaborate with global partners on cross-jurisdictional compliance and fintech innovation strategies.
Requirements

Advanced degree in Finance, Law, Data Science, or related field.

8+ years of fintech or regulatory technology experience.

Proven expertise in digital identity, compliance automation, and regulatory reporting systems.

Strong familiarity with Bahrain’s regulatory ecosystem and sandbox framework.

Excellent understanding of AI-driven compliance and blockchain-based monitoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications

Certification in compliance or risk (CAMS, ICA).

Prior involvement in sandbox projects or fintech accelerators.

Strong Arabic and English communication skills.
