Position Thesis – Quantitative Innovation

This role is designed for a quantitative engineer specializing in liquidity intelligence systems for digital assets and high-frequency transaction networks. The position blends financial mathematics, computational engineering, and real-time systems design, focusing on optimizing execution strategies across fragmented liquidity pools while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational risk mitigation.


Core Responsibilities

  1. Liquidity Systems Engineering

    • Develop intelligent routing and liquidity aggregation algorithms for fragmented exchanges.

    • Implement cross-currency FX optimization engines for real-time conversions.

    • Build risk-aware trading systems integrating portfolio and market volatility metrics.

  2. Algorithmic Modeling

    • Design quantitative models for order book analysis, arbitrage, and market making.

    • Implement reinforcement learning systems for adaptive trade execution.

    • Create simulation frameworks to stress-test liquidity and risk scenarios.

  3. Infrastructure & Technology

    • Design low-latency, high-throughput systems in C++, Rust, or Python.

    • Integrate distributed databases, real-time analytics engines, and high-frequency data pipelines.

    • Implement secure and scalable infrastructure compliant with digital asset regulations.

  4. Compliance & Reporting

    • Align trading and liquidity systems with UAE financial regulatory standards.

    • Incorporate transaction monitoring and fraud detection mechanisms.

    • Ensure auditability and transparency of algorithmic decisioning.


Candidate Profile

  • Advanced degree in quantitative finance, computer science, physics, or applied mathematics.

  • 7–12 years in algorithmic trading, quantitative engineering, or digital asset systems.

  • Proficiency with market microstructure, order book dynamics, and digital asset exchanges.

  • Experience in high-frequency or programmatic trading infrastructure.
