Engineer Always-On Financial Platforms for a Connected World
A high-growth fintech organization is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Reliability Engineer to ensure the availability, resilience, and operational excellence of enterprise financial platforms supporting digital banking and payment ecosystems across multiple international markets.
You will play a pivotal role in designing self-healing cloud infrastructure, improving system observability, automating platform operations, and ensuring exceptional reliability for mission-critical financial services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design highly resilient cloud infrastructure supporting financial applications.
- Develop automated deployment and recovery solutions.
- Implement observability, monitoring, and performance optimization frameworks.
- Improve platform scalability and service availability.
- Collaborate with DevOps, software engineering, and cybersecurity teams.
- Develop incident response and disaster recovery strategies.
- Strengthen Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Conduct platform capacity planning and performance testing.
- Mentor reliability engineering professionals.
- Drive continuous operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Engineering, or Platform Operations experience.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Linux, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong scripting experience using Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale financial technology platforms.
