Position Description:
A digital-first fintech ecosystem is seeking a Senior UX Architect to design intuitive, inclusive, and emotionally resonant interfaces for a next-generation digital wealth platform focused on Omani millennial investors and Islamic wealth management users. This remote position is ideally suited to a user-experience strategist with strong cultural intuition, digital empathy, and technical understanding of mobile wealth platforms, robo-advisors, and halal investing tools.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead full-stack UX research, wireframing, user journey modeling, and interface prototyping for multi-device digital wealth products.

Drive culturally aware, bilingual (Arabic/English) UI systems tailored to Oman’s financial literacy dynamics and preferences for Islamic finance features.

Collaborate with investment product teams to simplify complex instruments such as sukuk, commodity-based funds, and ethical ETFs.

Design gamified onboarding, risk profiling assessments, and Shariah-compliance score indicators for first-time investors.

Run qualitative user interviews and digital ethnographic studies with middle-income Omani savers, gig workers, and rural users.

Integrate biometric identity flows, FATCA/CRS compliance screens, and ESG filter modules.

Work with developers and accessibility consultants to meet WCAG 2.2 and Oman’s ICT Accessibility Guidelines.
Requirements:

BA/MA in Human-Centered Design, Interaction Design, or Cognitive Psychology.

7+ years in UX for fintech, digital banking, or consumer investment tools.

Demonstrated portfolio of mobile-first, scalable wealthtech designs.

Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, and UX audit tools like Maze or Hotjar.

Strong cultural sensitivity and regional awareness of Omani user personas and Islamic financial behavior.

Ability to translate technical financial concepts into visual storytelling and interaction clarity.
