Role Overview
A fast-scaling financial technology institution in Dubai is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Fintech UI/UX Designer – Digital Banking & Intelligent Payment Experiences to craft next-generation financial interfaces that redefine how users interact with money in a fully digital ecosystem.
This role is not about surface-level design—it is about engineering trust through experience. You will design seamless, secure, and intuitive user journeys across digital wallets, payment platforms, merchant applications, and core banking interfaces, ensuring that complex financial operations feel simple, fast, and human-centered.
You will operate within a multidisciplinary environment where design is treated as a strategic function—directly influencing product success, customer adoption, and long-term platform loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences across digital banking apps, payment systems, and financial dashboards
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile platforms
- Translate complex financial workflows (payments, transfers, onboarding, KYC, settlements) into intuitive user journeys
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and compliance teams to deliver secure and user-friendly solutions
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems, UI components, and interaction patterns
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and behavioral analysis to inform design decisions
- Optimize user flows to improve conversion, reduce friction, and enhance engagement
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and financial security requirements
- Contribute to product strategy by providing user-centric insights and design recommendations
- Stay updated on fintech design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably within fintech or digital platforms
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and complex product solutions
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design
- Experience designing for mobile-first and responsive platforms
- Familiarity with financial systems, payment flows, or digital banking interfaces
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with motion design and micro-interactions
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries
- Familiarity with analytics tools and data-driven design
- Exposure to accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
