Technical Mission
This role is for professionals who design entire fintech systems from first principles. The Senior Fintech Systems Designer is responsible for conceptualising, structuring, and documenting full-stack digital banking and payment platforms, from user interaction layers down to core transaction engines.
The role is fully remote and focuses on architecture, not implementation.
Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end digital banking system architectures

Define data flows, transaction lifecycles, and system boundaries

Architect security, identity, and access-control models
-
Specify integration logic between banking, payments, and third-party services
-
Ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and auditability by design

Produce complete system design documents and architectural diagrams
Technical Coverage

Core banking logic

Digital payment rails

API ecosystems and middleware

Identity, security, and data governance

Scalability and resilience engineering
Required Expertise
-
14–22 years in fintech architecture, banking systems design, or financial platforms
-
Strong ability to reason about complex, interconnected technical systems

Proven experience producing formal architecture documentation

Comfortable working fully remotely with minimal supervision
